This exhibit is all about art depicting native cultures, peoples, and scenes. This includes local tribal art as well as tribal scenes from around the world.
This exhibit is open to all adults and high school students.

Friend or Foe? Our Apex Predators Wildlife Art Exhibit
This exhibit is about co-existing with the apex predators of San Diego County and is a private exhibit curated by Barbara Scharnau.
This exhibit is an Art and Community Awareness presentation with beautiful artwork illustrating our apex predators whom we co-exist with in San Diego County.

VCAG sponsored the Best of Show prize for the VCAA’s annual VC Youth Art Show. The awards ceremony was held March 16th at the VC Library. VCAG Founding Member Barbara Scharnau is pictured with the Best of Show winner Nowi’chi Donate of Pauma School.
March 27 2024 Exhibit and Reception
The Valley Center Art Gallery hosted a Flora and Fauna themed exhibit for local and surrounding communities.

Clockwise: We thank Michael Mahan, Board member of VCAG, for donating $2500 to VCAG. Sharon Seibert, Chiropractor in Village Square, Valley Center. Judith Shadzi repaired a beloved family painting that had been damaged, and we thank Sharon for donating $100 to the Valley Center Art Gallery. We thank Judith & Bahram Shadzi, owners of Cosmic Solar & Roofing for donating $5000 to VCAG. We thank an Anonymous Donor for $13,373, which will be matched by a $10,000 donation from HP inc.
The Valley Center Art Gallery (VCAG) continues moving toward bringing an art facility to Valley Center,
on the County property next to the Library and History Museum, creating a cultural complex for our
community.
This innovative gallery will provide unique classes and workshops in a setting designed to inspire while providing fun and educational experiences for our area’s multi-generational population…from children to elders, all will be welcomed and encouraged to participate.

The VCAG’s fund raising is on-going and every dollar helps move them closer to their goal of funding the gallery. The Valley Center Art Gallery (VCAG) is envisioned as a space where local artists from the greater Valley Center unincorporated and tribal community will display their work; host art-related talks, meetings, classes, workshops, social gatherings and more.

Guests arrived with anticipation and left with an over-the-top experience. “Extraordinary…that’s how I would describe the Valley Center Art Gallery’s premiere fundraising event. Any group that can produce an event of this nature will realize the gallery.”
